Keylor Navas

Keylor Navas Antonio Gamboa (born 15 December 1986 Puntarenas ) is a Costa Rican football player. The goalkeeper plays since 2010 in the Spanish second division side Albacete Balompié.

Playing career

Since his youth Navas played for Deportivo Saprissa in Primera División de Costa Rica. With the team he could win five times the Costa Rican Championship and 2005 even decide the CONCACAF Champions ' Cup for Saprissa.

On 7 July 2010, he moved to the Spanish club Albacete Balompié. There he was goalkeeper immediately. In 2011 he was loaned to Levante UD, and was then bought in 2012.

National

For the first time Navas was appointed in August 2006 in the national team of Costa Rica. When CONCACAF Gold Cup 2009 he was awarded the best goalkeeper of the tournament.
