Khamsing Srinawk

Khamsing Srinawk ( Thai: คำ สิงห์ ศรี นอก, also Lao Khamhawm as a pseudonym; born December 25, 1930 in Amphoe Bua Yai, Nakhon Ratchasima ) is a Thai writer from the Isan in the northeast of Thailand.

Khamsing comes from a peasant family, and studied at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok. He is mainly known as the author of satirical short stories, such as The goldbeinige frog. He was honored as National Artist for Literature in 1992.
