Khamtum

King Khamtam (full name Samdat Brhat - Anya Chao Kama Dharmasara, also Kham- Tam Sa, English transliteration also Khamtum; * 14th century; † 1432/1433 in Pak Huei Luang ) was King of the entangled in 1432 for a short time in the throne turmoil Lan Chang kingdom in what is now Laos. He belonged to the dynasty Khun Lo.

Khamtam was the son of King Samsaenthai (r. 1372-1416/17 ) and his fourth wife, Chao Nang Keava Sridha. He was educated in the palace and informed. He ruled first as the provincial governor Mueang Pak Huei Luang, which is why he received the title Brhat - Huei Anya Pak Luang.

1432 followed Khamtam the king Konekham to the throne, but fled in fear of his life after five months and moved back to Pak Huei Luang. He died within a year. He left a son, Mui sound Kham.
