Khanui River

The Chanui (Mongolian Хануй Гол, Хануйн Гол, Chanui Gol ) is a right tributary of the Selenga River in central Mongolia.

The Chanui rises in Archangai Aimag on the northern flank of the Khangai Mountains. It flows in a predominantly north-easterly direction, but he passed the hamlet Erdenemandal. The river then flows south and east past the lake Scharga Nuur. He eventually flows back to the north, it reaches the Bulgan Aimag and leads eventually to the west of Chutag - Öndör in a southern tributary of the Selenga. The Chanui has a length of 421 km.
