Kia Michelle Stevens ( born September 4, 1977 in Carson, California ), better known by her ring names Amazing Kong, Awesome Kong and Kharma, is an American professional wrestler. At one of its greatest successes among the two-time TNA Women's Knockout receipt of the Championship.

Career

Stevens trained at the wrestling school the Empire Wrestling Federation and the AJW dojo in Japan. In Japan Stevens resigned as Amazing Kong in GAEA Japan ( a pure Women's Promotion). There they formed with Aja Kong a tag team. This Stevens won the 2004, the aaaw Tag Team titles. It was followed by various commitments in Japan (eg, OZ Academy, or HUSTLE Pro Wrestling ZERO1 -MAX ) before various promotions became aware of Stevens in the United States. She first appeared in the United States had Stevens in National Wrestling Alliance Pro Wrestling. Stevens also appeared several times at SHIMMER and Women Superstars Uncensored. In February 2010 there was a backstage altercation between Stevens and Bubba The Love Sponge, a friend of Hulk Hogan. Sponge made ​​derogatory comments against Haiti (where there was a severe earthquake in January ). After this confrontation Stevens submitted her resignation. The TNA officials rejected this however. Later, Stevens sued Sponge.

Stevens also complained in February about the low wages they received and the other wrestlers in TNA.

Stevens refused to compete in the UK tour of TNA and then was suspended. On March 1, 2010, she was discharged.

Independent / WWE

Her first appearance after the TNA dismissal had Stevens at Purks International Championship Wrestling. It was followed by various commitments in America (eg, Ring of Honor, Women Superstars Uncensored or EVOLVE Wrestling ).

In December 2010 it was announced that Stevens signed a contract with the WWE, where she officially debuted on 1 May 2011 at Extreme Rules as Kharma. On 30 May 2011 Stevens announced on RAW that she was pregnant and will pause due to their risk of pregnancy for about a year. At the Royal Rumble 29 January 2012 Stevens returned first unique and participated as a third woman ever on the same match. Later it became known that she suffered a miscarriage in December 2011, the child lost.

In July 2012, Stevens confirmed via Twitter that she is no longer under contract with WWE.
