Kick Stokhuyzen

Willem Frederik Anton "kick" Stokhuyzen (born 7 October 1930 in Surabaya, † January 12, 2009 in Voorburg ) was a Dutch TV presenter and voice actor.

Career

Stokhuyzen grew up in the Dutch East Indies. During the Second World War, he was sitting in a Japanese camp and the end of 1945 came with his parents to the Netherlands. After finishing school, he studied economics in Amsterdam. In student theater he met his future wife, Annet Nieuwenhuyzen. He took a job with the computer manufacturer IBM.

An accident gave him the opportunity to moderate the students quiz Tweekamp the Dutch transmitter NCRV. There were other quiz shows like Herkent u deze melody? and Herkent u deze tijd? .
