Kielce University of Technology

The Technical University of Kielce (Polish: Politechnika Świętokrzyska ) is a Polish state university in Kielce.

The origins of the university can be attributed to the Mining Academy founded by Stanisław Staszic beginning of the 19th century. From 1965 first study programs were offered at the Kielce - Radom Evening School of Engineering. In 1974, the Technical University of Kielce was officially established.

At the Technical University of Kielce over 10,000 students studying at over 400 professors and lecturers. 2000 Henryk Frąckiewicz Centre for Laser Technology, together with the Polish Academy of Sciences ( Polska Akademia Nauk - PAN ) was founded.
