Kim Winona

Kim Winona (born 10 October 1930 in Nebraska as Constance Elaine Mackey, † June 23, 1978 in Los Angeles ) was an American actress.

Life

Winona was as Sioux members of the ethnic group of the North American Indians and grew up on an Indian reservation in South Dakota. She married and moved to Los Angeles, where she initially pursued an office job with her husband. Because of their appearance they soon received orders also as a fashion model, she was invited to a movie casting. Although the role went to another actress, but when in 1955 the production company of Roy Rogers was looking for an actress, a young Indian in the Western series Great Eagle - should play chief of the Cheyenne, they remembered her. On the side of Keith Larsen, she played the role of Dawn 24 episodes long; after the end of the first season, the series was set, however. Do not pursued then continue her acting career.

Winona was married three times and had two children. She died in 1978 at the consequences of customer-supplied mounted gunshot wounds at the age of 47 years.
