King Banana

King Banana, since mid-2009 U- cee & The Royal Family, is a Bavarian reggae band. The band was formed at the origin in June 1995, and later still more musicians were added. The band's repertoire includes not only reggae mostly original compositions by the styles of traditional ska, rocksteady, calypso and dancehall.

King Banana was the opening act many well-known genre bands, worked 2002/2003 with Stranger Cole and Ken Bob, the lead singer of the band The Eternals together. King Banana occurred over 350 concerts in six countries, including the largest European Ska Festival in Potsdam Lindenpark and at the Chiemsee Reggae Summer overseas. Singer was Robert Zierhofer ( Big Belly Productions). A total of 46 musicians played at King Banana to the new formation. They produced at this time two singles and five albums.
