KingsIsle Entertainment, Inc. is a computer game developer company based in Austin and Dallas, Texas. The company was founded in February 2005 and currently includes more than 100 employees, including many of the greats in the industry, such as Tom Hall, co-founder of id Software and ION Storm, and Todd Coleman by Wolfpack Studios and David Nichols, the former Chief Operating Officer of Midway Games. The company and its goals and projects were unveiled officially for the first time in February 2008. Previously all information was kept strictly confidential.

KingsIsle describes itself as an "online entertainment company " and specializes in video games in the MMO area, of which several are to be currently in development. As quoted in a press statement, one wants to create " superlatives of entertainment." Due to the company policy is currently only little about the current projects and their state known. The first announced game called Wizard101 and is aimed primarily at young players.
