Kintu Musoke

Kintu Musoke ( Kinto Musoke ) ( born May 8, 1938) is a Ugandan politician and former prime minister.

Musoke studied among others in India journalism and worked as a journalist. Later, he was Advisor to the President in Präsidialangelegenheiten. In 1989 he became First Minister of Information and Broadcasting in 1991, and then Minister of State for Präsidialangelegenheiten.

On November 18, 1994, he was appointed by President Yoweri Museveni as a successor to George Cosmas Adyebo prime minister. This office he held until April 5, 1999.

In March 2004 he was appointed head of the working group on AIDS in Uganda and Presidential Advisor for HIV. In addition, he is Chairman of the Private Education Development program. In addition, he is Chairman of the Uganda Media Council Advisory Board.
