Kinzang Dorji

Lyonpo Kinzang Dorji ( b. 1951 ) was on 3 August 2007 until 9 April 2008 Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bhutan. He assumed the office of Lyonpo Khandu Wangchuk and formed a transitional government. Seven members of the ten-member Council of Ministers resigned. The government Kinzang Dorji prepared as part of a democratic process before the first parliamentary elections in the Kingdom of Bhutan in 2008.

Kinzang Dorji was already dated August 14, 2002 to August 30, 2003 Prime Minister of his country. From 1997 to 1998, Kinzang Dorji Member of the National Assembly of Bhutan, 1998-2003 Minister of Agriculture and 2003 construction and settlement minister.

In the Bhutanese national language Dzongkha Lyonpo the title "Minister " means. 1998, the executive power of the King was transferred to the Council of Ministers lhengye shungtsog. By April 2008, one of the members of the Council of Ministers adopted a rotating basis for one year at the function of the government.
