Kit Kittredge: An American Girl is an American comedy film from 2008 directed by Patricia Rozema, the screenplay was written by Ann Peacock based on the stories by Valerie Tripp. .

Action

The action takes place in the United States during the period of the Great Depression. The father of the ten-year Kit Kittredge loses his job as a car dealer and sets out to another city to look for work. Kit performs the writing and dreams of the future to work for the local newspaper. The family takes strangers into her house, to jointly cope the difficult time.

The mother of Kit and other people are deprived. There is not enough money for the loan repayment, the Kittredge family threatened with the loss of the house. Search Kit and her friends the robber.
