Kitkajoki is a river in the region of Kuusamo in Finland. It drains the lake system Kitkajärvi. He leaves the lake Ala- Kitka on its northern shore. Then it flows through a series of small lakes in the east.

Then it flows through the Oulanka National Park and flows a few kilometers from the Russian border in the Oulankajoki. Within the National Park boundaries, the river on several rapids and waterfalls, including MYLLYKOSKI and Jyrävä. The river is considered as an ideal angling for trout.
