Kizzy McHugh
Kizzy (actually Kizzy Yuanda Constance Getrouw; born March 14, 1979 in Rotterdam) is a Dutch singer, songwriter, actress and presenter.
Life and career
Kizzy was born in Rotterdam, the daughter of a Surinamese father and a West Indian mother. At the age of four years, her parents emigrated to Curaçao in the Dutch Antilles in the Caribbean from.
In the following years Kizzy participated in several musicals and plays and won various awards. In 1997, she then picked up her first CD ( Lamu ) and came to the German label "TMP" 1998.
Ze graduated from the Conservatory Berklee College of Music in Boston and has lived in Boston for 11 years. In the United States Kizzy performed with world-renowned stars and she hosted her own TV shows. In 2009 she went back to the Netherlands.
