Klaas Veenhof

Klaas R. Veenhof (* 1935) is a Dutch orientalist

First, a professor at the University of Amsterdam, he worked from 1982 until his retirement Professor at Leiden University.

He has dealt particularly with the first half of the second millennium BC, particularly with the Assyrian texts from the dealer karum Kane, but also wrote well-known introductory books.
