KlaipÄ—da Free Economic Zone

Free Economic Zone Klaipėda ( lit. Valletta laisvoji ekonominė zona ) is a spatially delimited geographical area of 412 ha within Klaipeda in Lithuania, consisting, for the legal and administrative benefits to investors ( Special Economic Zone ). The zone was established in 2002. The investments amount to 1.51 billion litas (350 million euros ). There are 1,258 jobs. The companies of Lithuanian origin constitute about one-third ( eg, biodiesel production company Mestilla, the leading Lithuanian producer of PET packaging, the Nemuno Banga Group ( NBG ), hatt jointly with the Spanish " Interquisa " a new work, etc.). From Thailand came " Orion Global Pet ".
