Klaus Berggreen

Klaus Mountain Green ( born February 3, 1958 in Virum ) is a former Danish football player.

Career

Mountain Green began his playing career at age six at Lyngby BK. In 1975, he came into the first team and shot this in 1979 in the first division. In the same year he made his debut in the Danish selection.

1982 changed the midfielder to Italy to Pisa Calcio. In 1984, he got off with Pisa from Serie A and even played until 1986 when the men from Tuscany. In 1985, he got back with his team. During his time in Pisa, he was also appointed to the Danish squad for the 1984 European Championship in France. Green Mountain came with the Danes to the semifinals. He played four times, scored a goal and also got a red card. He also was nominated for the 1986 World Cup in Mexico, where Denmark failed to Spain in the second round. Mountain Green played three times and got a yellow card.

After the World Cup, he moved within Italy on. The midfielder went to Roma. After just one season in the Eternal City, he moved to Torino Calcio, where he also remained only one year. In 1988 he was appointed to the Danish squad for the 1988 European Championship in Germany, where the Danes have failed in the group stage. Green Mountain has been used twice. After the European Championships, he finished his career in the national team. At this time he was used for his country 46 times and scored five goals.

In 1988 he returned to Denmark and signed in his parent club Lyngby BK. After end of his career he was from 1990 to 1992 director of sport of Lyngby and Green Mountain opened a fashion store.
