Klenová Castle

Castle and Chateau Klenová ( German Klenau ) are in Janovice nad Úhlavou in okres Klatovy, Czech Republic.

History

The first written record dates from 1291 when the castle was completed. At the beginning of the Hussite wars was Přibík of Klenová rebuild the castle became part and re- attach. In the 16th century the castle fell into disrepair. Nearby then a castle was built, the last reconstruction took place 1834-1836 in neo-gothic style.
