Klitsche

Klitsche was a municipality in the district Jerichower Land in Saxony-Anhalt. She was a member of the administrative community Elbe- Stremme - Fiener, which had its headquarters in the city Genthin.

Until December 31, 2009 Klitsche was a separate municipality, which consisted of the villages of Old and New sweatshop sweatshop and the living quarters sheep and Wilhelm Thal. January 1, 2010 Klitsche was dissolved and amalgamated the districts in the city Jerichow. Last Klitsches mayor was Karl Kiehn Scherf. In the municipality Klitsche lived to 18.4 km ² Population 343 (31 December 2008 ).

History

The earliest settlement can be traced back to the Bronze Age. Period for colonization was the advance of the contact, a Slavic tribe that around the time of 500 in the Elbe -Havel angle - was settled before Christ 1100. During this period, was followed by numerous local start-ups. Old and New sweatshop sweatshop are to be considered in its origin as Wendish streets villages with one output. Later they evolved into road settlements.

The name derives Klitsche (probably) from the Slavic Kelita from and represents bad house, hut or mud hut. In 1268 the village was first mentioned as Clitzke.

The community Klitsche arose when in 1950 the formerly independent communities Klitsche Old and New Klitsche were merged.

Coat of arms and flag

Blazon: " Argent, a linkshin border reinforced golden and red gezungter blue rooster with red comb, face, and cloth on a shaft with a silver bar occupied green mountain. " (Note: In heraldry side directions are given a mirror image. )

Klitsche led in the 19th century a seal image showing a left -turned border cock, but this seal image has never been approved as a coat of arms. In the 20th century the rooster emerged as a coat of arms on right-wing, but heraldic incorrect and also without permission. Ultimately, was part of the volunteer fire department in the recent past, the attempt to represent the cock in blue on a golden plate.

It was decision of the community to bring the formerly guided seal image as a heraldic coat of arms proper in the approval process, which was implemented from Magdeburg Kommunalheraldiker Jörg Mantzsch.

The coat of arms shows three symbols: a blue cock, a domed green sign foot and a silver wave beams. The cock is true in heraldry as a symbol of the guard and alarm clock, and also it stands for courage and will to fight. Its direction of movement is the earliest presentation of the above Image seal on the next. The domed green sign foot refers to the Old Klitscher mountain to the there is even a legend, during the wave beam symbolizes the Stremme.

The coat of arms was approved on 28 October 2008 by the county. The colors are Klitsches: Blue - Silver ( White )

The flag is blue - white ( 1:1) striped ( cross- shape: strips horizontally extending, longitudinal shape: strip running vertically ) and centrally occupied with the arms.
