KNMI-mast Cabauw

The KNMI measurement mast Cabauw is a 213 meter high guyed steel tube mast for meteorological measurements near Cabauw in the province of Utrecht. It is operated by the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute ( KNMI ). Just a few kilometers southwest of the Gerbrandyturms located mast was built in 1972. Its foundation is 0.7 meters above sea level. The mast is provided with 9.4 meter long booms that can be hydraulically folded.
