Knut Wigert

Knut Kirsebom Wigert ( born October 3, 1916 in Skien, † June 14, 2006 in Oslo) was a Norwegian actor. He was regarded as a leading interpreter of Ibsen. From 1938 to 1986 he worked at the National Theatre in Oslo, and also played in NRK - drama and other films, including Tante Pose (1940 ), The Terrorists (1975) and Höstsonaten (1978).

Wigert was committed to the language Riksmål and was chairman of the Riksmålsforbundet 1974-1983.

He was later married to Sofie Helene Wigert and after her death with Vera Dietrichson.
