Koji Yamase

Koji Yamase (Japanese山 瀬 功 治, Koji Yamase; born September 22, 1981 in Sapporo ) is a Japanese football player.

Career

Koji Yamase began his career as a footballer in 2000 when the Japanese first division Consadole Sapporo from his hometown. After two successful years and nine goals in 59 games, it pulled the midfielder to the top club Urawa Red Diamonds. In the seasons 2003 and 2004, however, he was able to work out a regular place, though after all it was him eleven goals.

Since 2005 Yamase runs on for the league rivals Yokohama F. Marinos, where he had been his strongest time. With 18 goals in 71 games, he could also recommend for the national team.

National

Since 2006 Yamase runs on for the Japanese national soccer team. His record is excellent with five goals in eight games for a midfielder.
