Kolda Region

The Region Kolda is a region in the Casamance in southern Senegal. It is bordered to the west by the region Sédhiou, on the east by the region of Tambacounda. Capital of the region is the city of Kolda. The Senegalese license plate is " KL ". 2008 from the western part of the region's autonomous region Sédhiou.

The Bintang Bolong, the largest tributary of the Gambia River entspring here and flows in a westerly direction until it empties into the Gambia.
