Kolhapur State

Kolhapur was a princely state of British India, on the heights of the Western Ghats north of Goa in present-day state of Maharashtra. Its capital was the site of Kolhapur. The Mahratta Principality was founded from the Bhonsle Dynasty in 1710 by Shivaji II and finally separated in 1730 by Satara.
