Kolonia Łomnicka

Kolonia Lomnicka ( German Tellsruh ) is a village in the urban and rural community Olesno (Rosenberg ) in the powiat Oleski of Opole, Poland Voivodeship.

Geography

Kolonia Lomnicka is 8.5 kilometers southeast of Olesno and approximately 40 kilometers north-east of Opole in Upper Silesia region. The village is at all points of the compass - surrounded coniferous forests - to the north of loosened.

History

The colony Tellsruh was founded in 1780 by Leopold Konrad Ludwig von Gessler.

1840 a ​​Catholic school was built in the village. The Catholic Tellsruh was the parish after Wyssoka - in Lomnitz was a branch church.

In the plebiscite in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921 voted in Tellsruh 44 people to remain with Germany and 120 for the annexation to Poland. Since the voting district of Rosenberg had but a majority voted for Germany, Tellsruh remained with it during the German Reich.

On November 1, 1928, the rural community Tellsruh with the rural community Lomnitz and Lomnitz Gutsbezirk Schoffschütz to the rural community was united.

After the Second World War, the village in 1945 as Kolonia Lomnicka came under Polish administration.

From 1958 to 1963, a Catholic branch church was built in the village.
