Konary, Strzelin County

Konary [ kɔ'narɨ ] ( German Kunern ) is a village in the powiat Strzeliński in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in Poland belongs to the municipality Przeworno ( Prieborn ).

Geography

Konary lies about 9 km northeast of Ziębice ( Münsterberg ).

Political affiliation

Konary belonged to the principality as Kunern Münsterberg in Silesia. In the Prussian era included the place to circle Münsterberg, since October 1, 1932, county and chasing after the Second World War, the Republic of Poland; here as part of the powiat Strzeliński ( chasing ) first to the voivodeship Wrocław from 1975 to 1998 and since 1999 Voivodeship Wałbrzych Lower Silesian Voivodeship.

History

Kunern was old family seat of Sebottendorf ( first mentioned in 1374 there ), in 1548, the property was re-arranged to two shares. Part I came in 1656 to the Imperial Lieutenant Flaschke 1683 Family Seidlitz, 1696 by Landskron and 1709 finally back. Sebottendorf to the family of Fraction II remained until 1654 when the Sebottendorfs to come across the Rapazky of Rapaz, Schimonsky, Nimptsch, Hoberg and Kottulinsky 1712 also back to the Sebottendorf family. The Episcopal Councillor Abraham Friedrich von Sebottendorf then sold all Kuhnern 1721 Johann Ernst von Lohenstein, which it finally in 1737 to his son Palle Max von Gaffron and Oberstradam ( born August 12, 1714 Schleswig ) sold. Its descendant of Hermann (1797-1870) was raised in 1840 in the Prussian baron with the predicate Gaffron - Kunern. When his son Theodor Kunern 1882 to the House of Saxe -Weimar sold, lost his descendants by the Baron title. Kunern remained until 1945, then in the hands of middle class families.

The last mansion in Konary ( Kunern ) was rebuilt by the families Gaffron and Lohenstein in the 18th century. It burned down on 13 December 1921 and was soon afterwards rebuilt. It fell initially after 1945, but was extensively renovated and since 1979 has been under a preservation order.

Church

Kunern belonged to the Evangelical Church in Schreibendorf. The few Catholic inhabitants belonged to the church in Berzdorf.

Population

Manor Merzdorf

Merzdorf (also March village) belonged to the circle Münsterberg, came in 1874 to the District Münchhof and together with it on October 1, 1932 circle chasing. It was then connected to the church Haltauf and finally united on 1 April 1937 Kunern. The manor Merzdorf said to have been first mentioned in 1234. 1479 has been confirmed as the owner of the family of Walditz. After 1505 parts came of it to the Sebottendorf, Kreckwitz and Keul until it is restored completely came to Dresky family in 1587. 1616 the Nimptsch, 1630 at the Krocker, 1721 at the Lion's Arch, then to the Sebotttendorf. In 1749 it was purchased by Sophie Teresa Bock, nee Ohl and Adlerskron, who sold it in 1754 to Barbara Sophie of Taubadel. Then it came to her husband Carl Sylvius of Gold River and in 1800 to the family of Gaffron and Oberstradam. The first 1820 sold it to Friedrich von Minckwitz, 1832 acquired again in 1834 sold to Albert Heller, to buy it back in 1841. 1882 finally went to the possession of the House of Saxe -Weimar- up to the Second World War it was part of middle class families.
