Kongoussi

Kongoussi is a city and a comprehensive department of the same territory in the West African state of Burkina Faso, Located in the region Centre- North and the capital of the province of Bam. The population of the capital of which is divided into seven sectors and the associated 56 villages is 68 807 ( 2006 census ).

Nearby Kongoussis is the Bamsee, which serves mainly as farmers living population for the supply of fish and is a tourist attraction. Original name of the city was Kondibito.
