Königshausen & Neumann

King & Neumann is a publishing company based in Würzburg, which was founded in 1979 by John Königshausen and Thomas Neumann and is managed in the legal form of a GmbH since 1991.

One focus of the publisher is the manufacture and supply of books in the humanities (philosophy, literary studies, cultural studies, musicology, psychology, education ), for example, Doctoral and Habilitation Theses. The publishing house has its own printing and are about two hundred titles a year out again.

In addition nonfiction with humanities subjects, a further focus is literature on Richard Wagner, for example, the " Wagner Spectrum " which appears twice a year, as well as the quarterly "Journal of English and American ."
