Konrad II, Count of Württemberg

Conrad II († 1143 ) was Lord of Wirtemberg 1110-1143. He was married to Hadelwig.

Conrad's father is unknown; but he is assigned to the Althausen - Veringer Counts. Reason for this assumption is the great similarity of the coat of arms of the Counts of Veringen ( Veringenstadt ) and the counts of Wirtemberg. Therefore, it is generally assumed that both houses of the nobility are cognate. Conrad's mother Liutgard bag of Bach was a sister of his predecessor Konrad I..

After the death of Conrad I Conrad II appeared as a heritage of the castle Wirtemberg. Conrad II is under the Wirtemberger name on May 12, 1110 at the same time called his wife Hadelwig as Schenker of goods near Göppingen to the monastery Blaubeuren and on December 28, 1122 as a witness of the Emperor Henry V. Speyer (the first time though as Count in a later mention without this item, but in the midst of Counts ).
