Kopust

The Kapust was a dynasty of Hasidim from Kopys, which was based on the Chabad school.

The first three rabbis of the Chabad school were Shneur Zalman, and Menachem Mendel Schneersohn Dovber Schneuri, known as the Tzemach Tzedek. As Tzemach Tzedek died, he had appointed no successor. His son, Shmuel Schneersohn was a rabbi in the city of Lubavitch.
