Korba (Hindi कोर्बा, Korba ) is an Indian city with around 363,000 inhabitants ( 2011 census ). It is the capital of the district of Korba in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh. Power generation, coal mining and aluminum smelting make Korba a center of heavy industry.

Korba is located at 22.35 ° N, 82.68 ° E, at an average elevation of 252 meters above sea level. NN. It lies on the rivers Zusammfluss Hasdeo and Ahiran.
