Korean studies

The Korean Studies ( in Austria: Koreanologie ) is a complex science, the research object Korea is in a broader sense. Major topics include the Korean language, literature, culture (including art and music ) and history. Together with the Chinese and Japanese studies, it is one for the field of East Asian Studies. As the founder of the German Koreanistik applies the Benedictine Andre Eckardt, who was in Korea for decades served as a missionary.
