Korihait

Uudenkaupungin Urheilijat Korihait (short: UU - Korihait or just Korihait ) is a Finnish basketball club from Uusikaupunki.

History

In 1898, founded a club basketball department was set up after the settlement of the Valmet Automotive Works, the city had experienced a considerable increase in 1974. Already in 1981, reached the summit in the highest national league Korisliiga in which one soon established himself. 1986 and 1988 come with the cup wins the first two national titles and profits at the end of the decade they won in 1990 for the first time the Finnish championship.
