Uusikaupunki [u ː ˌ si kɑu̯puŋki ] (Swedish: Nystad [ ny ː stɑ ː t], German literally means " new town" ) is a small town in Western Finland. It is located around 70 km north- west of Turku on the Gulf of Bothnia.

History
