(In local dialect known as Kermich ) The Körnbach is about three kilometers long tributary of the Tame Gera in Gera mountain on the northern edge of the Thuringian Forest.

Course

His sources ( Clementine source Schlossquelle and others) are in almost 700 meters above sea level on the eastern slope of the Hohenwarte southwest of Elgersburg. It flows in a northerly direction, passing the Nature Theater Elger castle and at the Goethe rocks.
