Headquarters Library - Castle Kórnik

The Kórnik Library (Polish: Biblioteka Kórnicka ) is one of the most important libraries in Poland, founded in 1826 by Tytus Działyński in Kórnik castle. She is also currently one of the five largest libraries in the country and has a population of 400,000 exhibits ( including 30,000 books that are older than 150 years) and 14,000 manuscripts ( including that of Adam Mickiewicz and Juliusz Słowacki ). Since 1953, the Kórnik Library is part of the Polish National Library.
