Korozluky

Korozluky ( German Kolosoruk ) is a municipality Okres Most in the Czech Republic.

History

The village was first mentioned in 1325 when it was transferred to the possession of Peter of Kolosoruk. 1410 was the place to Osek monastery. In 1576, the Lords of Hartitzsch acquired the property and connected it with Malt Heuer. After the Battle of White Mountain in 1623 the estate was confiscated, as the lords of Hartitzsch were Protestants. From 1688 the estate belonged to the Barons of Reysky Dubnitz. These were built in 1775 on the south side of the Janský vrch a late-baroque palace. Because of indebtedness of Franz Wenzel Reysky Dubnitz of the estate was foreclosed at the beginning of the 19th century. The new owner, the Launer citizens Wenzel Benischko of Dobroslav, left the chateau in 1806 in the classical style remodel. In 1848, the brewery owner Brüx Alex and Josef Fleischer acquired the estate. In 1887 it was one of the judges family that built the chapel of St. Joseph at Castle Park. A large part of working in the nearby Brüx. In 1945 the estate was confiscated from the possession of the judges family. The little castle fell into the second half of the 20th century.

For the rural municipality belongs also founded in 1253, place Sedlec. There especially quarries operated. During the Second World War prisoner of war camp in 1948 and was located in Sedlec, a prison camp for political prisoners.

The municipality consists of the villages Korozluky Korozluky ( Kolosoruk ) and Sedlec ( Sedlitz ). The municipality is divided into the Katastralbezirke Korozluky and Sedlec u Obrnic.
