Korzybie, Pomeranian Voivodeship

Korzybie ( German: Zollbrueck ( Pom. ) ) is a village in the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship and is part of the rural community Kępice ( hammer mill ) in the district of Slupsk ( Stolp ).

Geographical location

Korzybie is in the northwest of the Pomorskie Voivodeship directly on the border with West Pomeranian Voivodeship and 14 kilometers southeast of Sławno ( Schlawe ) as well as 24 kilometers southwest of the county town of Slupsk ( Stolp ) in the Valley of Wieprza ( Wipper ) in the province road 209 Sławno ( national road 6, former national Highway 2) with Zuchorze ( sugar) (State road 21, former national Highway 125) and Bytów ( Buetow ) (State road 20, former national Highway 158) connects.

History

Zollbrueck was before 1871 Vorwerk Barvin (now Polish: Barwino ) created. After 1871 the Zollbrueck station was at the track Pila - Pommern- Stolp. Until 1928 Zollbrueck was with the Vorwerk Zollbrueck and Zollbrueck Station a municipality Barvin, as then - the independent rural community Zollbrueck was formed in the wake of the repeal of the estate districts and reorganization of municipalities. In this community the places Barviner mill Frankenfelde, Löschinghof and Ulrichstal were included. 1933 lived 880 inhabitants in Zollbrueck. Their number rose to 910 in 1939.

By 1945 Zollbrueck was a municipality in the district Rummelsburg i Pom. in the district of the Prussian province of Pomerania Pomerania. After 1945, the city came under the name Korzybie under Polish administration and is now a district of Gmina Kępice in powiat Słupski the Pomeranian Voivodeship ( to 1998 Voivodeship Stolp ). Today it live again 919 inhabitants.

Church

Before 1945 lived almost exclusively Protestant inhabitants in Zollbrueck. The place was in the parish Bartin (now Polish: Barcino ) incorporated the Church of the Old Prussian Union Church Schlawe the Church Province of Pomerania.

The binding of Korzybie at Barcino has remained composed after 1945, since the place has predominantly Catholic population. In Korzybie own church MB Częstochowskiej was built ( " Our Lady of Czestochowa " ), the subsidiary church of the parish is Barcino. This is part of the Dean's Office Polanów ( Pollnow ) in the Diocese of Koszalin - Kolobrzeg of the Catholic Church in Poland.

School

By 1895, the customs cheats children went to school Barvin. 1892, the number of pupils had risen to 43, so that a separate school building was necessary. In 1896 it was the school building. 1937 taught here three teachers 167 children. 1928/1929 a new school house was built.

Railway junction

The development of Zollbrueck or Korzybie is intimately connected with the railway. After the construction of the branch line Pommern - Rummelsburg - Stolp of the Prussian Eastern Railway additional railway lines were created which met in Zollbrueck.
