Kostajnica (Doboj)

Kostajnica (Cyrillic Костајница ) is a municipality of the city of Doboj in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since the Bosnian War, it is part of the Republika Srpska, one of two entities in the country. Kostajnica situated on the river Bosna, which separates the city from the town of Doboj.

This is not to be confused with the town of Bosanska Kostajnica, which lies in the north of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Kostajnica is the birthplace and home of former President of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borislav Paravac.
