The Kramp Bach at Stukenbrock

The Kramp Bach is an orographic right tributaries of the country Erbaches in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It has a length of 1.2 km.

River course

The Kramp stream in woodland area within the Senne just on the boundary of Oerlinghausen as a drain for two consecutive spring pool, called Rose Ponds.

The waters of the flattening of the Teutoburg Forest flows following from the southwest direction and crosses still within the forest boundary to the Schloss Holte -Stukenbrock. On Good Schlieffen north-west of the district Stukenbrock the Kramp Bach then leads over a pond in the incoming stream from the east bone, which is called from this point as a country Erbach.

The Kramp Bach overcomes during its flow path a height difference of 10 meters, thus results in an average bed slope of 8.3 ‰.

Characteristics

The Kramp stream runs almost exclusively through a wooded area and is accordingly in a largely natural state. During its course, the water is accompanied by fracture forest areas and inland dunes. Above the Rose Ponds is a dry valley, which, however, fails shorter than in most neighboring Senne streams.
