Kreiken

Kreiken is an impact crater on the eastern limb of the Moon front page. The area is due to this situation from Earth if at all, only highly distorted visible. The crater is located south of Mare Smythii, southeast of the crater Kästner and northeast of Ansgarius. It is irregularly shaped and heavily eroded.

The crater was officially named in 1973 by the IAU after the Dutch astronomer Adriaan Egbert Kreiken.
