Kremlhoftheater Villach

The Kremlin Court Theatre Villach is located in the atrium of the Cultural Centre in the Kremlin in Villach district Perau, Carinthia, Austria. The theater building is a converted hexagonal gazebo with a capacity of six to eight spectators and a stage area of 1.30 times 1.30 meters. 2011, the Kremlin Court Theatre by Guinness World Records has confirmed as the smallest theater in the world.

The Kremlin Court Theatre is operated by the Association for the excitation of the dramatic appetite ( VADA ) and the artist collective kärnöl. Director is the actor and director Felix Strasser. The opening took place at the 5th Biennial kärnöl on October 16, 2009.

Shown are in-house productions and national and international guest performances in the genres of spoken theater, theater for young audiences, dramatic readings and ballet. One focus is on the performance of Russian literature, which partly takes place in the Russian language.
