The Kremnitz is about 17.5 km long right source stream of Kronach in Upper Franconia. From some Kremnitz is also regarded as the name of upper reaches of Kronach.

Course

The Kremnitz arises as Finsterbach in the Franconian Forest northeast of the municipality of Reichenbach. When Wilhelm Thal joins the Grümpel to Kronach.
