Kreso Kovacec

Kreso Kovacec ( born July 20, 1969 in Krapina, Yugoslavia ) is a German former football player of Croatian descent.

Raised in Hamburg striker Kovacec played in the youth for the FC Southern Elbe, from which he still moved to VfL Bochum as a 18 -year-old. In Bochum, however, he could not prevail due to multiple injuries, came only in the amateur team to use and, after just one year back to Hamburg, where he ran aground on the ASV Bergedorf 85 and Concordia Hamburg. With the latter club Kovacec succeeded in 1993/94 and the rise in the newly established Regional, in the Concordia in 1994/95 reaching relegation.

For the season 1995 /96 Kovacec Hannover 96 Hannover but joined, for whom he scored six goals in his first season in 32 missions in the 2nd Bundesliga, in the Regionalliga Nord descent. In October 1997 Kovacec left the club to join the North East Regional division Tennis Borussia Berlin to join with which he ascended to the 2nd Bundesliga and there scored seven goals in 19 games.

Then Kovacec was from antretenden in the Bundesliga FC Hansa Rostock committed. For the Hanseatic League he first played 17 games in the season 1999/2000 the German top flight in which two goals get him. 2000/ 01 and 2001/ 02 but came Kovacec only to eight inserts and a goal and three inserts in the Bundesliga, after which he left in 2002 Rostock.

From 2002 for FC Augsburg and from 2003 worked for the SV 07 Elversberg Kovacec played two more seasons in the Regionalliga before he first was out of contract in 2004. From 2005 he was then allowed to finish his career with the unterklassigen Bavarian club DJK Augsburg- Lechhausen.

In the season 2010/2011 he was a first-team coach of DJK Augsburg- Lechhausen in the district league Schwaben- Nord. Since the season 2011/12 he is coach of FC Donauwörth 08
