Kristijan ÄorÄ‘ević
Kristijan Djordjevic ( born January 6, 1976 in Spaichingen ) is a former Serbian football player and current football coach.
Career as a player
He graduated for VfB Stuttgart and FC Schalke 04 between 1997 and 2002 a total of 75 Bundesliga appearances ( five goals). His most successful period were the seasons 1997/98 and 1998/ 99, when it was used among others in the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup and on 2 September 1998 came to its single use in the jersey of Serbian - Montenegrin national football team ( friendly match against the Swiss national football team ).
On his second Bundesliga club Schalke 04 he was able to prevail never really among others due to various injuries. After a training clash with Gustavo Varela in February 2003, in which he suffered a herniated disc in the cervical spine, he finished as a sports invalid after the 2003/ 04 season, his active career.
Career as a coach
The commitment of Djordjevic at the Baden-Württemberg FC 08 Villingen began in the 2004/05 season, when he acted on the side of head coach Dieter Hahn as an assistant coach. After the separation of the Association of cock he was at the beginning of the 2005/06 season head coach at South Baden traditional club. He succeeded with his team Earned promotion of the fünftklassigen Association League South Baden in the Oberliga Baden -Württemberg, where a remarkable fourth place was achieved in 2006 /07. In the same season, he managed to lead the team with a 2-0 victory in the South Baden Cup final against third-tier SC Pfullendorf (Regionalliga Süd) in the DFB Cup. However, the FC 08 difference in the first round against SC Freiburg. In the 2007 /08 season Kristijan Djordjevic target with his team to promotion to the Regionalliga.
On 10 May 2008, he resigned with immediate effect from his current contract until 2011 as coach of FC 08 Villingen.
1 July 2011, Djordjevic took over the head coaching job at the Regional division SC Pfullendorf. On October 13, 2011, the club and Djordjevic parted by mutual agreement.
