Kristoffer Joner

Kristoffer Joner ( born September 19, 1972 in Stavanger ) is a Norwegian actor.

Life

From 15 to 20 years old, he played at the Rogaland Theatre in Stavanger. Three times he applied unsuccessfully to Norway's state theater school.

From 1997 until the end of production in 2002, he played the role of Ståle Pettersen in the NRK - series offshore. In 2000 he got his first film role in Pål Jackman's film detector, in which he played a Satanist. For his role in the low-budget film Mongoland him criticism celebrated.

In 2003 he was awarded the Shooting Star and the Golden Swan for Best Actor at the Copenhagen International Film Festival. 2005 Amanda Award followed as best male actor in the film neighbors.

Family

His uncle is the Norwegian actor Johannes Joner as well as the composer and musician Sverre Indri Joner. His cousin Knut Joner is also an actor.
