Krzemlin

Krzemlin ( German Cremlin or Kremlin ) is a place in the urban and rural community Gmina Pyrzyce in powiat Pyrzycki, West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland. It is located about 8 kilometers south of Pyrzyce ( German Pomerania ) and 44 kilometers southeast of Stettin (Polish Szczecin) in the Neumark. In the years 1975-1998 the place to Szczecin Voivodeship belonged and was then transferred in the course of administrative reform of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship.

Before 1945 Krzemlin was part of Germany and is now about 35 km from the German -Polish border.

History

In the 17th century, the estate belonged to the family of Kremlin Belling. Beginning of the 20th century was the very fertile land, were grown on the wheat and beet, among other things, owned by the family von Sydow.

Before the Second World War Kremlin belonged to the circle Soldin in the province of Brandenburg and had two districts: Karolin Castle (Polish Derczewko ) and Mathildenhof ( Krzenlinek ). Overall Krzemlin had 1933 374 and 1939 416 inhabitants.

Location and Attractions

Krzemlin is just 1.5 kilometers west of the Droga Krajowa 3 or the European Route 65 and a railway line, the ( German Mellentin ) leads through the village Mielęcin.

In the village and around the village there are several small ponds and lakes, and smaller forests. A large part of the area is used for agriculture.

In the Kremlin there is a St. Adalbert of Prague (Polish Wojciech ) consecrated Catholic church and an old mansion. The church was destroyed in 1945 and rebuilt in the years 1988 to 1991.

On June 5, 2008, an e-learning center was opened with 16 computers and high-speed Internet access in Krzemlin, which was co-financed under the project Centra kształcenia na na odległość wsiach by the European Social Fund.

Also located on the outskirts a so-called "Moto Park ", a quad stretch.
