Krzymów, West Pomeranian Voivodeship

Krzymów ( German Hanseberg ), is a village in the municipality Chojna powiat Gryfino ( Pommern ) of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland.

Geographical Location

Krzymów is located about 7 km north- west of Chojna (Königsberg ) and about 14 km southeast of Schwedt / Oder in the Neumark.

Ownership history

As the owner of the manor Hanseberg ( Hanszbergk ) 1332 is called a knight Hennig von Sydow; 1439, the Council of Königsberg ( Chojna ) was well off there. In the 17th century Daniel appear by Strauss ( 1628), Adam Strauss (1640) and Georg von Horcker ( 1646) as the owner of the goods. Horcker it was sold in 1694 to the Elector of Brandenburg Colonel Sergeant Adam Wilhelm von Sydow, whose family kept it until 1748.
