Kseniya Simonova

Ksenija Symonowa (Ukrainian Ксенія Симонова; Russian Ксения Александровна Симонова; born April 22, 1985 in Evpatoria, Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian artist who deals with sand animations. With its sandy animations it was 2009 winner of the Ukrainian version of the Super Talent.

She grew up in the Crimea artist uses ground lava sand because this is very fine. Your animations occur on an illuminated from below light table on which a sand bed is. The thickness of the overlying sand layer allows the translucent light brighter or darker, which gives her characters the form.
